I got my first raise at this company last year (after being here for two years). I got $0.57/hr.

I guess the amount of the raise depends on what one was told when hired along with what the starting wage was.

if one started low it would be one thing. If at a decent wage already then .90 is not a bad raise

For what I do/did, I should have been getting at LEAST another $7 an hour up to about $30hr....90c at my hours works out about $15 a week.

Its my fault for not taking the other job back at chrissy time and believing their bullshit.

They are only pissed because now they have to deal with Easter and hols by themselves...and they have NO idea...I hope Karma gets em good and we have heavy rains, and they stuff up the whole system, coz Im the only one who knows how to do it all.

Anyway..thanks for your wishes. I have to go to Jury duty on monday, so hopefully that will turn into a job for a few weeks.:thumbup

I saw 2 old clients I used to massage at soccer this morning. Every timeI see them its.."Are you massaging again yet".....this timeI gave in and said yes. Both want weeklies, so theres some pocket money already, and word of mouth around here is good, so I'll more than likely pick up a couple more.
I only need 7 a week to get what I was getting at the old job anyway.

I just dont know if my back will handle it...thats why I gave up before....if I stick with only 2 a day, and not 5 -7 like I used to do...I should be fine.
