I was watching Dateline last night (yes I was bored) and they were showing about how every 1 in 4 people has some unclaimed money out there. If you go to unclaimed.org you can look to see if you have any unclaimed $$.
This one older gentlemen had $950,000 of unclaimed money that he didnt know about from when he use to work at Lowes back when he was a student in high school.

I got a letter from a life insurance co addressed to my dad after he passed away. It was really weird because he moved away many years prior. I thought I'd be a rich motha but it turned out he only paid into the policy for under a year. Still, I scored some cash!
