Is there a substantial difference between X rated porn and a R rated movie when it comes to sexual content?

X-Rated= You see the "in and out" of it.
R-Rated= You see two nude people grappling with each other, possibly humping, breasts and bottoms revealed, but no erect penis.
PG-Rated= two nude people grappling, but no significant body parts revealed, possibly some humping.

I believe children should not be watching porn, but... Bottom line, two (maybe more) people are engaged in sexual activity. One category is definitely more revealing than the one below it, but is the difference enough to ban one but not the other? What would the reasoning be? If anything the porn would be the most honest as far as revealing the sexual act, however I admit that the only reason porn movies exist is to get the watcher aroused/off with multiple sexual interactions.

Until they ban all violence and depiction of humans killing one another from all media and games, then they can go fuck themselves with their bullshit notion of "morality" and what is "good for kids."

For children...I think they should make it as hard as possible to access the porn.
And CHILDREN...I don't think...will have enough experience or courage to perform the work-arounds that can be done to obtain anything on the internet. I would hope that most children under 18 that are trying to access porn...are just curious...And I would worry about the psychological effects if they got in and saw more than they need to see.

When you say "they", who do you mean?

As far as I can see this responsibility lies in the hands of the parents and no one else. Certainly not the govt.

Please elaborate on what psychological damage you think can be done to a person/child by watching people have sex.

I think they would be more damaged from an adults prudish reaction to be honest...

... mind you, sex is dirty. The good kind is, anyhow.

That's the biggest problem for me here, the Government being involved. Now sure if it were something illegal on the Internet then the Government is well within it's rights and duties of protection of it's population to interfere. However with this I believe it's the parent's/guardians responsibility to make sure that their Children aren't viewing (In their opinion) inappropriate material. And that's the other thing, sure it's porn, but it's also a case by case thing with parents. It's kinda like films. I mean when I was a kid I was allowed to watch older films as I was considered mature enough to figure out they aren't real and not to copy them. Whereas another parent may well just make their Child watch "Pretty Fairy Land 14" all day.

It's totally down to the parents. 100%.
