Two Horribly Conflicting Stories

Can somebody PLEASE reconcile the conflicting statements in these two stories? Anybody? Can anybody tell me how any of this makes any fucking sense at all?

FOXNews.com - Liberals' Dream of Single-Payer Health System Dies
Obama repeated his demand for action, telling ABC News "the federal government will go bankrupt" if the health care bill fails. He said Medicare and Medicaid are on an "unsustainable" path if no action is taken.

FOXNews.com - Clinton: U.S. Ready to Join $100B Climate Aid Fund
The United States extended a $100 billion carrot to the rest of world Thursday, when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters in Copenhagen the United States is willing to commit up to $10 billion a year by 2012, and would support a global fund of $100 billion a year to help developing nations deal with climate change, provided the nations here are willing live up to the 'transparency' demanded by the U.S.

If the federal government is in danger of going bankrupt, as the President himself said...just how the hell can we give $10 billion a year to developing nations to "stop" global warming.

Does this make sense to ANYONE?

Does this make sense to ANYONE?
it makes as much sense as obama talking to the top banks last week i think it was to get them to loan more money to the people to improve the economy.

borrowing your way out of debt or increasing debt to improve the economy is a STUPID FUCKING IDEA.

i really dont think obama has a clue. but i guess as long as people think there is "hope" that's all that matters.

tell you what folks, hope in one hand and shit in the other and tell me which one fills up first.

Obama is a moron

Basically he wants them to loan money to people who can't pay it back. Loaning money to people who couldn't pay it back is how we got in this mess to begin with...
