I was greatly surprised. The writing was top notch and Kutcher was better than I expected.

Yea, it wasn't bad at all. I expected the premiere to be completely absurd and far fetched with the death of Charlie and all, but it was actually pretty good. They did a decent job of integrating Kutcher's character into the storyline too. So far, they haven't scared me away. Let's see if the show can survive now.
