there is no way I could relate to your situation but I do know what it feels like to be lonely...and for that i tried hiding in a bottle for a few years...but it sound like you have a better head on your shoulders then I did...I'm sure you'll be just fine...but yeah seriously...if you need to vent...vent away...we all have more then once or twice.

I know how you feel. My daughter had went to California with her great grandparents a couple years back. She was gone 2 wks and it was so hard. Certain commericials I would see on TV would remind me of her and I would start bawling, etc. I think it was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do that involved my kids.

Believe me, I can totally relate. I have only seen my kids twice in the past year and a half I have been here in Spain. That is the only thing I regret about getting a divorce. I don't miss my ex one bit, but I miss my kids more than anything in this world. They are my pride and joy. But soon enough I will be back in the States and will get to see them more often.
But we are all here for you.

I think annoying thing is, I mean it is bad enough that I don't get to see her, But she is only allowed 1 ten minute phone call a night.. Ten minutes is not long enough to talk, I mean you hardly have time to say Hi and ask how things are and her time is up.. I can understand the need to limit the phone call time, But ten minutes, That is just not enough time.

they are Saying a Minimum of 2 months, and then it depends on how she is doing.

I know it is the best place for her to be, I know she needs the help, and if this is what it takes for her to get it, then yeah I am all for it. I am glad she is there, I am glad she is getting the help she needs, I know it will help, I can already hear the diffrence in her..

Meanwhile, I am just going slightly insane.. Thinking of getting a Frontal Lobotomy, I might function better :D

You're in that state where eating cereal over the sink is a meal replacement, and everything moves slllllooooowwwwllllyyyy?

I know what you mean, though. This is really different, but I guess you're feeling it the same: when my best friend died when I was a teenager, everything sort of slowed down and got really murky and difficult. I'd freak out at some telemarketer or something, and then want to call her to tell her about it, and then have to go, "oh yeah... she isn't here."

It's L.O.N.E.L.Y. I feel for you.
