Trying to analyze a quote...

So I read this quote and i am wondering what some of you folks make of it...

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

It is a Martin Luther King quote.

Any takers? I am interested in seeing what others think of it.

Its how you handle tough situations that show what kind of person you are.

umm i think it means how you individual try to tackle situations like ones that you know who must do without running away... umm something like that right???
