We don't see many here at all and even though it's s shitty shot it's worth keeping in spite of it. Regarding the ripping comment there's about 20 more geese behind what you see so maybe the pair ( not in this shot ) feel outnumbered. I really don't know cuz I ain't a bird and have no idea how they think.

swans are like west ham fans,fearless......the only harder water birds are coots....they fear nothing
