It's a shame that debate in here has been spoilt because one troll spams the shit out of it. Therefore I have created a user group on here for debate which is private and invite only so it will be troll free.

I've sent out a load of invites to people who enjoy debate but obviously I'm not going to remember to invite everyone who's interested so if you haven't got an invite, just PM me with a request for one. at the risk of being branded a troll, i have yet to see anything that truly qualified as a 'debate' here or anywhere else on the internet.

most of the time calling a thread a 'discussion' is being generous. unless robert's rules are getting enforced, it's not likely that anybody's debating anything around here.

Formal debates using Robert's Rules are pretty much relegated to High School Debate Teams. Where they belong.

even informal debates don't happen on the internet and most threads just barely qualify as a focused discussion.

my bad. i haven't been online much lately and i'm a little punchy from getting trolled on another forum and being called a troll by the trolls trolling me.
