Tried something new last night

I have always kind of wanted to try and steer wrestle so last night after a couple of bottles of liquid courage I asked my buddy who is a steer wrestler if I could borrow his horse and run along side a steer. Well, after about 5 or 6 runs I finally got the courage to go from the horse to the horns of the steer and wrestle it down. Course, it wasn't as easy as I made it sound, but I wasn't always successful I did get owned by a few lol. So when I think it is time to hang up the spurs I think I have found a new interest. I also would like to try my hand at team roping, but that will have to wait another day.

Yes, I love them. I also ride bulls, which hurts a little more than the horses lol.

Damn, I remember havin to hold cows down for vaccinations, but that steer wrestlin can be dangerous. I would never! LOL I'd get gored from asshole to appetite.

I love them too. I used to have a few. I had one that I was realllllly attached too but he got really sick... I was younger and couldnt pay for all the vet bills. But eventually, I want to get some more. There is a farm in the backyard of us and they have about 4 horses. When we first moved here they were all scared of people. And after trying to go up to them time and time again, we are finally able to pet them, and give one of them carrots. I have never seen horses in my life that dont like carrots. Only ONE of them eats carrots, the rest of them is happy if I just pick up grass and give it to them. I don't get it tho... I thought all horses like carrots, or apples... they wont eat both!

Well, they are picky just like humans they will only eat what they want.
