Far too difficult to make such a list. I have a favourite film and then others I like tremendously but it would likely be a top 20 or top 30 as I can't rate one over another.

I'm sure you know this Ian, but LOTR was originally three books as per the names of the films, but for a long time now published as one big volume.

Which one, the original or the remake? Personally I preferred the remake, the old one is a classic but the remake is far more clever.
