Tonights Moon....

Here's 4 different shots of tonight's moon. I just took them within the last few minutes. Kinda cool.

Tonight's m,oon was over hyped. Unless you have a telecope it didnt look aq bit different

What settings did you use on those?

It was a lot brighter than normal, I took a photo of it but because of the glare it looked more like a solar system or something, I'll upload it later.

What settings did you use on those?

I did it the lazy way this time and had it on auto - shutter priority from 1/500 sec to 1/250 sec from shot 1 to 4 @ f5.6, iso 200 w/evaluative metering. It was so bright that when I did it any other way all I got was a big ball of bright light.

Yes I have a lot. But the moon thing was overhyped. I'm not being negative, I'm being real. The way people were talking the moon sounded like it would be a lot bigger. It looked normal from what I saw.

I've thought about that as well. They landed there on my 16th birfday. That along with the fact that I always wanted to be an astronaut makes me think of it every time I see that ball.

It didn't look any bigger to me either but it was a heck of a lot brighter. Shooting the moon usually doesn't cause me a lot of trouble but I had my share of it last night cuz it was so lit up. That along with the fact that I was cold and running out of patience didn't help.
