My wife corrected me and said closer to 20 times. This one should stick for at least 6 months.

I moved around more than that when I wasn't married. Biggest thing to haul was kayaks and snowboard. Didn't own a TV or furniture until I got married in my late 30's.

If you're helping your son move AND he's married, the next move should be completely on him, and he shouldn't expect your help IMO.

I'm sure he is doing great with his wife. The moving was years back so that I'm sure he is doing really awesome

He moved again a few years ago. This time he had a cadre of help and I did very little heavy lifting.

This is a very nice gesture from you to your son which is what we all want from our parents, to always be there for us and help us with anything that we need from them.

That has been a lot of moving..13 times since 2008. What makes him move so frequently? Job requirements? Some jobs are transferable and some need frequent transfers.
