I agree

One can rile about republican obstructionism. and rightly so.. But Bill Clinton had the same crap and he got some things done.

Obama has no clue and no experience and is IMO clueless and reckless and incompetent.

One of the few things Obama did which most agreed with was to take down OBL. If his people used that to leak out info for a movie as is being alleged than that speaks a lot. And I did say IF

Just because this has been repeated over and over doesn't make it true.

He has actually accomplished quite a bit of his agenda in his first term

True, so why all the whinging??

Also, you're not alleging that he is a more successful president than President Clinton, are you?

So now the question is why keep a failed figure in charge rather than changing him out. Why wouldn't the dems toss out Obama in favor of Hillary?

That would be pretty divisive and would probably cause more harm for the Democrats than good.

Besides, isn't it basically assumed that the President will be re-nominated? Have their been instances in US history where the incumbent hasn't won their party's nomination? If so, I bet it's a very rare occurrence.

I'm sure it is, since most people place the party ahead of the country.

I couldn't give you an honest opinion on that. I would need to compare the first three years of each of their terms. As of right now, it would only be a guess.

And you need to remember that some of Clintons biggest accomplishments are things I do not agree with... like NAFTA

I'm not talking about agreeing. I didn't agree with many things Clinton did, don't agree with the vast majority of power-grabs Obama has done, and probably wouldn't agree with most of Secretary Clinton's decisions if she were president. I'm only going on effectiveness.

Say what you want about those who voted for Obama. But we actually re-elected George Bush!

And John Kerry will always be known as the guy who lost an election to a president who attacked Iraq when they apparently never even had WMD's.

I thought Kerry was best known as the guy who voted for the war before he voted against it ... or the other way around. :shock
