Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of the commies, but in their defense, we don't have to buy all their worthless crap, and they don't have to buy up our debt.

... Just sayin is all. ;)

If it were me, I'd say to the Chinese government;

"We asked you nicely. We asked you sternly. We warned you. Now we're simply going to not play anymore. I'm announcing a 500% import tarrif on all Chinese goods, and incentives to help other South East Asian countries tool up production.

Have fun explaining to your semi-quazi-capitalist citizens that they've got to go back to pure Communism again. We'll be right over here if you decide you want to play again."

... But that's just me. :D

While I agree with you in spirit, I disagree with your methods.

Turning our back on success and prosperity is not the best way to move forward with the pollution problem. Science and technology are making huge strides because of the pressure of market forces.

It'll work. We don't need to live in huts until we figure out a way to be 100% green. The world is NOT in a state of imminent danger.

We have warmed and cooled a thousand times, and will a thousand more. This alarmism is silly.

Where did I say what my methods should be? Where did I display alarmism or say we should live in huts?

I am totally middle road on this issue. That global warming or not we should just clean up...I never said we should live in huts...you must have me confused with some one else.

I drive a 14 MPG Toyota 4-Runner....:cool

OOOOoooooo!! Good point! :clap That damned EU should cut us a check. sarcasm.gif

Gimme a break. My ethics is not based on whether I benefit or pay. I do my damnedest to live my sig. Makes me sick when people claim one opinion when they're on top then whine when the tide turns against them.
