Tired of Hollywood/Music Award Shows

Is there anyone else here that is tired of seeing Hollywood or Music award shows on television? I really don't care about the red carpet nor the nominations for this that and the other. It seems that more and more they are airing shows of this nature. I might just be getting old or something but most of them just irk me now. The only exception is when there are musical guests that I want to see perform.

Is anyone else as tired of this as I am?

Never been a fan of shows where they are just patting themselves on the back for pretending to be real.

It's all pretentiousness anyhow and stupid Hollywood politics. The actors/directors/films that deserve the awards never or rarely ever get them because they're not buddy buddy with people at top or sucking up to studio producers. Leonardo DiCaprio's recent films have been amazingly well done yet the man's never won a bloody Oscar. In fact a ton of deserving top tier actors/actresses never win them.

Same goes for the music awards.
