?Mental health advice floods on TikTok, but is it reliable? Some find comfort; others get misdiagnosed. Should platforms regulate this content? Have you ever self-diagnosed from social media? Was it accurate?

I've definitely come across mental health advice on TikTok that felt relatable, and yes—I’ve caught myself wondering if I had something based on a 30-second clip. While some content offers comfort or validation, it's risky to self-diagnose that way. What’s trending isn’t always accurate, and mental health is too complex for bite-sized content. I think platforms should take some responsibility, maybe by flagging content that lacks professional backing or linking to real resources.

Social media does not create content on its own. it is a platform to share content, if you follow authentic accounts, there will be no problem. The most important thing is the source of information
