When it comes to websites and hosting, it's not YOU, you have to worry about so much, but others. Do your target audience use firefox?

largest isn't always better. history will show some good companies not exclusive to webhosting have gone down due to poor market, poor management, poor marketing or other reasons.
godaddy has especially now been marketing like crazy. they are just good at marketing and sure they do have some areas where they are doing well. like I said before. I have my domains registered through them.
