I wouldnt say REALLY smart... but in a public school i was getting a 4.0 gpa... cuz math was like whats 2 + 2? and crap like that...

I put my daughter in Montessori for that reason, I hate it when puclic schools pigeonhole the smart kids and make them at the same level as the rest of the population.

same thing my parents said... i didnt mind it too much... the easy homework gave me time to hang with my friends... now its only weekends for me :thumbdown

Its not a bad thing for all kids dont get me wrong, my son went to public school and he was on the other end of the spectrum he got left behind on some things. I think we as parents just try to do the best we can for you, its hard when you get out there in real life. Things change in a big hurry when your not Joe regular anymore you need a leg up if you can get it.
