so you worship zombie's?,....if you worship life then how come your book is full of death?

Sorry it isn't, Easter he rose, he also raised Lazurus, ok some may doubt he was dead, as Christ himself said so, but medically he was dead, but Christ raised him

OK, the tv isn't the best source of info, but neither is name calling or telling me that I don't belong here, as if you have that right in the first place to tell me that, this is your site is it?

A really ignorant remark about your father? I didn't know a) it was ignorant, all you have ever done is called me ignorant, and not told me why it is ignorant, neither did I know your dad was pagan, neither was it aimed at particular people, if so, again I call you to prove it, please, just settle this once and for all

Boy oh boy... you just are full of surprises.

Iif you don't feel like I've got the right to tell you that you don't belong here, how about reading this thread again and finding one person that agrees with anything you've said. I'm not insulting you... just stating a fact. Close minded people do not do well on this board, as you've had first hand experience with.

PoopaSwoof is my father, and he's a Christian, not a pagan.

You come in here claiming Wiccans and Pagans practiced human sacrifice as if Christians didn't burn probably thousands of so-called witches at the stake. Pot? Kettle? Much?

I am not bothered if people agree with me or not, the way they want to insult me, as stated by a mod, and not to gang up on me or anyone, exactly what you are doing now

Right? Did PoopaSwoof claim that I am a bad name to Christian? What right does he have to say that to anyone? Not exactly Christian if he is judging me

Well in the Old testament, it said so to do so, now Christ has kind of revoked that by telling us without sin to throw the first stone and to forgive people

Yes, everyone has differing view points on religion and worshiping... But can we at least act like adults when discussing it?

Please! And that means everyone

So you can also say that the rest of the Bible's story about sacrifice is just that, factually not proven?

I can and do say it. It's a nice story, but if you read the Bible closely it is not so nice a story at times, but is is just a story regardless. (Not implying that you don't read your Bible.) If we compare notes, I happen to think there will be an afterlife, but that in itself is pretty vague. It's certainly not because of anything I've read. IMO, the problem with many "believers" is that they have whole heartedly taken a book, a completely unproven document, and based on faith, have committed to it's undeniable truth, but in the process have ceased to independently evaluate their existance. It's all most as if, the path the Church lays out for you is too easy in that it answers all of your questions, elevates all of your fears. It's very easy to fall for for it without any real logical thought behind it. Now I'm not trying to set you off. :) I'm just saying that the Church could have it all wrong and there is no one who can really prove anything any which way or the other. That in itself is enough to remain somewhat of a skeptic.

I know you have said that you are not a pagan, but from what I heard on TV, the pagans did actually sacrifice, I am not saying they do it these day, because it wouldn't be accepted by anyone.

They may have, but didn't God sacrifice his son for mankind? And don't Christians ritually drink his blood and eat his body?

I meant to say that those types of hounding down people with different colour skin is no longer happening amongst the Church if it did happen at all, it is also my recollection that I wouldn't call that Christianity if people hated other people that they can't control about themselves i.e. the colour of their skin and their gender, after all Christians are taught to forgive

My impression is that the Church, at least the Christian Church has come along way, since way back when, but if you look at the entire world, including the U.S., if you think there are no bigoted Christians out there, you are not being realistic. Yes a standard is preached, but Christian standards are not honored by a substantial portion, even a majority of church going people. If you want a standard, look at Jesus. How many people really act like he was supposed to have? I'm not saying no one does, just very few.

That is only a symbolism, we can't possibly ritually EAT his body, he is no longer with us physically, plus Christ said do this in memory of me, while breaking the bread up over the table
