is my salt shaker... yes, I happen to like salt. And I've never bothered to replace the salt shaker that my ex-wife took when we split up. :24:

I love salt too, I cannot lie. Try to go easy on it, but...fail.
I assume you pour some in your hand, you don't just use the spout... :24:

same here! we've never owned salt and pepper shakers!

and i use out of the spout. a good cook is careful enough to ;) then again, i dont use it much to cook. i use Tony's :D

I'm a pepper person, salt is rarely used when I cook. I do use Mrs. Dash which has awesome seasonings without salt. mmmmm

I notice you got the non iodized version of the salt..Unless you eat alot of fish you should be using the iodized version.
But anyway a fork will put 4 nice holes in the box to make it a shaker..Just barely pierce to begin with..the fork can be re inserted later for a little enlargement if need be

Good catch... but mine is the iodized version, that's just a picture I found online.
