That pisses me off more than anything in this world!:mad :mad How can people be so ignorant and stupid to shake a baby!!? Especially THAT bad! That breaks my heart.

I seen this one incident where mom brought her baby (he was between 6-7 months old) in one Saturday after she got off work and the dad had been watching him all day and she says when she got home she noticed that he wasnt "acting right" so she brought him to the ER. After extensive tests, they found a skull fx. Come to find out, when dad would get mad at the baby, he would flick him in the head to get him to shut up. DHS took that baby away after he was flown to Arkansas Childrens Hospital.

Just the other day my daughter asked me if I had heard of this new song out called "Alyssa Lies" and I told her no and she was telling me about it and then asking me questions about it. So I downloaded it so I could hear it and then try to answer some of her questions. By the time the song was over, I had huge tears in my eyes. Just read the words to it. Its much better if you can hear it being played. But just imagine the questions my 8 yr old was asking. She told me that shes glad that me and her daddy dont do that to her and her brother and sister. Here are the words:

My little girl met a new friend,
just the other day,
on the playground at school
between the tires and the swings

But she came home with tear-filled eyes,
and she said to me "Daddy, Alyssa lies"

Well I just brushed it off at first,
'cause I didn't know how much my little girl had been hurt
or the things she had seen.
I wasn't ready when I said "You can tell me"

and she said...

"Alyssa lies to the classroom,
Alyssa lies everyday at school,
Alyssa lies to the teachers
as she tries to cover every bruise"

My little girl laid her head down that night to go to sleep.
As I stepped out the room, I heard her say a prayer so soft and sweet
"God bless my mom and my Dad
and my new friend, Alyssa
*oh*I know she needs you bad

Because Alyssa lies to the classroom,
Alyssa lies everyday at school,
Alyssa lies to the teachers
as she tries to cover every bruise"

I had the worst night of sleep in years
as I tried to think of a way to calm her fears
I knew just what it was I had to do *I knew exactly what I had to do*
but when we got to school on Monday I heard the news

My little girl asked me why everybody looked so sad
the lump in my throat grew bigger
with every question that she asked.
Until I felt the tears run down my face
and I told her that Alyssa wouldn't be at school today

how anyone could do that, and then hide the fact that it was done, and then be with the family and grieve with the family after knowing all along what had happened is beyond me. That motherfucker is gonna get just what he deserves when he gets sent to prison, Can you say BITCH?????

I know these people. The baby's mom cuts hair for my entire family. His grandmother grew up with my stepsister. This child was beautiful. He was only four fricken months old.

This bastard not only had the brutality in him to harm a child, but he covered it up. He wouldnt let her check on the baby, telling her he was "fine". This baby was still alive, suffering.

Worse yet, he initiated sex with her, with this baby a few feet away fighting for his life.

Its disgusting...fucking heartbreaking. Im screwed up by this....

It's a sick fucking world, I don't seem to get shocked anymore when I hear things like this. It's really bad but unfortunately this kind of stuff goes on only too regularly.
