and I had never heard of quinoa but I just found out its freaking expensive

the most inexpensive buy is bult quinoa (25 lbs). Last time I looked it was $3.95 a lb. (cheaper now)fron on line seller (see below). I got 10 lbs last time for $5.00 a pound. It's becoming very popular because people are now aware of it's heath benefits, unlike rice that immediately turns to sugar after you eat ist (especially white rice) quinoa is high in protein.

hundreds -- have replaced many with CDs, along with hundreds of records and VHS tapes (luckily I found a place that recycles the VHS tapes)

I will choose Christmas any day and anytime over birthdays for during the Christmas period the whole family comes to together and celebrate no matter how far we are living apart from each other, but when it is birthday we can celebrate it anywhere we find ourselves. There is this special thing about Christmas which goes beyond just the eating of food and merriment that it comes along with as most of the time people make use of that opportunity to rest and then again reconnect with people that they have seen a long time ago.
