No one, not even parents of a thief, can get him a pardon. It is only in case of murder that victims parents have the legal right to grant pardon to the killer...
This is evidently a manifestation of God's love for his children or servants as Muslim normally call themselves

So a murderer can walk free via blood money ..but a thief will have to take his punishment.
This is why religion has no place in law.

You will appreciate that in Saudia where Sharia in some form is practiced all shops loaded with precious stuff including gold and diamonds are left open and unattended at the time of prayers and no one dares to steal anything from there.
If Sharia is imposed in America or Canada you won't have to guard your property from thieves or thugs....Sharia will automatically take care of it and redress you.

Are you saying Saudi Arabia is without crime...I find that hard to believe.

Sharia is very strict....only parents of a victim can forgive the killer ...conditionally or unconditionally. But this does not usually happen but when it happens it stops future vengeance and vendettas in future between the two parties.

blood money is not bribe,,,,it's compensation.....and allowed by Islam.

Quran says: Take eye for an eye tooth for a tooth but do not transgress ,,best is to forgive. (not exact line though)

I think you ought to sit with a Muslim cleric or perhaps Mohammad Ali Clay to get lessons on Islam and Sharia....

This is exactly what the Taliban want to enforce in their areas but there is a condition for that, viz, they must first create a pure Islamic Welfare State. Without the existence of such a state these laws may not apply.

And the Taliban reside in PK.
You yourself just claimed they want to make PK a nation of sharia law....but they are already applying law in areas that they have rights to operate in PK..so is PK an Islamic welfare state or not?
None the less PK claims to use British law...I have never known the Brits to charge a 9 month old baby with attempted murder nor to sentence a woman to death for drinking water from an unmarked cup.
That wont fly in the US Canada Britain Australia Germany Russia nor most nations that are not modeled after religious law.
I can go to most nations and follow the same laws I follow here..I will have nothing to worry about.
I however can not go to Islamic nations and do the same..As I may get a death sentence for getting a drink from a public cup...My crime is basically not being a muslim...My baby could get charged with attempted murder.

I am not knocking the religion...but it has no place in law.
If we followed out old testament and used it for law here...we would have more screwed up laws than those from the Mideast.
Thou shall not judge right?...so how does one hand out punishment for God?..You dont God is the judge for the sin.
Our laws are deterrents via punishment but are not based on religion...they are based on right and wrong in regard to theft violence and property,,,Most of the west is the same way.
I could go to any nation in the west...as long as I am honest and not violent I have nothing to worry about
