This bugs me to no end...

This might sound like it is posted in the wrong spot, if so it can be moved...

My wife and I go home at lunch from work, and we typically watch House hunters. We like to travel, and we like to look at houses, but we don't have the budget or the credit, haha. Here's what bugs the shit outta me: These yuppy scumbags that go on there with a budget of a MILLION dollars, and then complain because the closet is not quite large enough, when it's the size of my daughter's bedroom!! Or my personal favorite, when the douche bag complained about the pool in the huge backyard of the Hawaii home he was looking at only had a PEEKABOO view of the ocean!!!!! OMG!!!!! A PEEKABOO VIEW!!! CALL THE NATIONAL GUARD!!!

Sorry... it just frustrates me to see these people acting like such spoiled, materialistic brats, when less than 2 years ago, my wife and I were grateful for the leaky room above a sign shop because we had nowhere else to go... and these people are complaining about not having enough room for their entire wardrobe, when there are 6 BEDROOMS in the house they're looking at...

Just venting... anyway, thanks for listening... I know I sound like a jealous poor kid, hahaha.

My ex's parents were loaded, but they weren't cocky about it. She would sale shop, and they wouldn't go places just because they were expensive. If anything, they would avoid some places because they were *too* expensive.

If I ever get rich, that's the kind of rich I want to be.

See, that's totally cool, thrifty or whatever. Very responsible on their part. I do think that if you have money, you're more than entitled to spend it, since you earned it, one way or another. But it's when they do the opposite and get spoiled... that's when I get fried.

and then the spoiled rich parents spawn bratty "Sweet sixteeners" that have meltdowns when they dont get the right colour SUV for their sweet sixteenth....:willy_nilly:

and said parents wonder WHY they have spawned such a spoit brat.

They should be happy that they've got what they've got.

Exactly man!! We were happy for the shitty ass place we had, cuz it's all we could get. We were unemployed, couldn't find work, couldn't pay for our car loans, couldn't afford a REAL apartment, so our "friends" let us rent the shitty leaky upstairs room for 250 bucks, cuz it's all we could do, and we were HAPPY TO HAVE A PLACE TO LIVE!!

And the worst part, is that there are people worse off than I have EVER been, who are probably happier than ME!

Seriously dude... I'd love to be able to have all that money to spend, and buy a super cool house with a pool and all that other cool shit... but if I WERE able to, I'll tell ya what, I'd be fuckin' happy with it... not bitch about little things...

Anybody who tells you money is the root of all evil doesn't fucking have any

i wouldnt say that is the "root of all evil",..but i will say that the more somone focus on "the almighty dollar" the more they lose track of what is truly important and valuable .

i will agree that money cant buy happiness....but it can rent you a close facsimile for at least a few hours :24:
