The day after Thanksgiving Day, when shoppers flood retail shops for supposed holiday deals. Also known as "Black Friday" and sometimes celebrated as "Buy Nothing Day."

Used in a sentence: "I was so full of tofurkey, I didn't think I was going to be able to get up early to wait in line at the big box stores on Thingsgetting Day."

Similar concept but i'll always grab something decent in the January sales, after an HD telly this (well, technically next) year

I got a good deal on a necklace online for the same price that they were advertising in the stores. Why get up so early, go wait outside a store in line and fight the crowds when all you have to do is turn on the laptop?

They just keep the prices up for most of the year and bring them down to standard levels for moments like this anyway, your never actually getting a bargain

I am also looking at some cameras online and compared with in-store pricing and they're all the same. Online, actually has more bonus kits and the sale price is extended for 3 days

I can attest to that :nod: My first time to do join the Black Friday crowd a few years back, the sticker price on the electronic toy we were eyeing fell accidentally and revealed the original price which was only 5%off compared to what was advertised as 50 % off. They marked up the price sky high to make it appear that it was remarkably discounted but reality it wasn't. :willy_nilly::ninja

I did that one year. ONE year. I'll never do it again. If I'm in that particular frame of mind, I can this as something fun. So far, every year, I've not been in that frame of mind.

I have a friend do that before and i think they would surely attribute it to you If not mistaken that's how words are in Urban dictionary- submitted and made-up words by anyone It's worth the try, right? :nod:
