Terms like "gaslighting" and "trauma response" are everywhere. Is this awareness or over-pathologizing normal emotions?

Has therapy jargon helped you understand yourself or caused unnecessary stress?

I think they are over analyzing. This might be a result of treating them with humility instead of disciplining them with strict measures when they were child

Gen Z’s embrace of therapy speak promotes awareness, but overuse risks diluting real issues. Terms like “trauma” or “boundaries” are often misused, turning everyday conflicts into diagnoses and making relationships feel clinical rather than human and emotionally nuanced.
