I like Carra, he's a decent player. His form was poor at the beginning of the season, but he picked it up afterwards - and Liverpool's defensive record shows that.
A lot of the stick he gets, is for being honest about how he feels about playing for England in comparison to his club team.
I reckon if more players were that honest, they'd say the same.
Do you really think all the other players at top teams value the very slim chance to win a World Cup every 4 years over the much more realistic chance of winning a number of Champions League, Premiership and Cup medals every year?
Last time I saw Carragher was when Liverpool were playing West Ham. We were playing shit and Carragher was getting ripped to shreds by one of our youth players on his debut, the guy is crap now!
I think Carragher is there for his versatility, so really Walcott who has no playing experience in World Cups or Carragher who's been there, albeit as a sub.

I honestly cant see USA getting a result. Last time we played 2 years ago, England played shit in a meaningless friendly and still comfortably won 2-0, the USA really had nothing to offer.
