I.

LIKE.

COCK!

The other stuff doesn't bug me. Not in the least.

I don't care for "ignorant" and "stupid." I HATE racially fueled words.

"Cunt" and "cunny" have been in use for generations, though the second has fell out of use early last century and the connotation of the first has changed significantly over the past hundred years. Same as how from the nineteenth to the twentieth century "teats" evolved to "tits" and the usage changed.

I've never heard a woman refer to her parts by the textbook names, that is, vulva or pudendum. Matter of fact, most of the time, "these" refers to her breasts, "that" or "it" refers to your equipment, "there" refers to hers.

Put it there, pal.... :D :D :D

I have no idea why that word bothers me more than others, though I did slap my ex who called me that. He then proceeded to throw me into a wall, but he never called me a cunt again. :D

Joking around it doesn't bother me, but if anyone seriously ever calls me a cunt they better put on their gloves cause it's on!

Someone at work called me 'Thundercunt' once, and it made me laugh so much that I had the word inscribed on a brass plate which I stuck on my locker door. :)

I've seen 'The Vagina Monologues' three times, so by now I am pretty immune to the word 'cunt'. I hate it when they call it a 'slit', though. I prefer 'muff'.

I don't know why I don't like the word..it's just ALWAYS really offended me. I Don't mind any other swear words. It's just that one. I have to REALLY hate someone in order to be able to describe them using that word. And there's only one person in the whole world who I've managed to waste the energy on.

I would think a cup would be more prudent than gloves.

I think that no matter what people are called or what they call others voice inflection is important as well as the level of trust and friendship. If we don't know that person well enough we need to back off. :D And THAT is common sense along with a deep abiding respect for their personal space.

Some people just have trigger words. The sooner we know this the less damage we can do to our personal relationship with them. :)

It's all in the context, too. I've known people to refer to a woman who gets around a bit as Sheila Rottentwat, but somehow I doubt that term would be received well directly.

Actually, it refers to the pudendum, not the vagina; if my sources are right, cunt comes from the Latin cunnus, which refers to the cleft of the pudendum, but there are other theories about its origin. Too, while its use is now just as you say, that wasn't always the case. Matter of fact, one of the sources I looked at says the word "coney" for rabbit is likely related to it, right down to its original pronunciation, "cunny".

But it's interesting that these days, many people say vagina when they mean the pudendum, maybe because pudendum just doesn't have that certain ring to it? We ought to invent a better word for it.

one phrase i found that got the worst responses was "your mother".

for a short time as a teenager i found a foolproof way of pissing off people who thought it was amusing to harass me. anything said came back with a "your mother" added in some way.

"you're fat"
"your mother's fat but we dont talk about it"

its amazing how quick people can be to talk shit about you but when you bring their mother into it they go into a frenzy. well maybe if your mother was here you wouldnt be talking shit about people now would you?

what does this have to do with cunt? well i notice cunt will get a pretty bad response from lots of people in the states.

to me its just words, they have no meaning if you refuse to let them have one.

I really don't throw a lot of swear words around to offend people...but for the words to actually come out of my mouth in a funny conversation, words really don't bother me. I guess it's who you're talking to.....everyone is offended by everything lol.

I really don't give a shit what people say to me as in insults as long as it doesn't involve the following:

Family
My handicap
My friends
Other people I care about
