I don't know how any American can look at our countries position today and not scream bloody murder. Record deficits, take a look at the National Dept Clock, trillions of dollars of debt as the government guarantees troubled or failing financial institutions, significant inflation that the U.S. Government claims is not there. Have you bought food at the grocery store lately? A gallon of milk that used to cost $3.50 now $4.50. Have you eaten at a restaurant lately? No inflation is one of the many lies this government tells us. The housing market down the toilet. Jobs flying out of the country.
Is this a normal business cycle or is it the result of HORRID leadership? I choose the latter and I'm looking for a real change in direction. You're not going to get that under McCain. He is also an avid free trader which is bad for workers.
And no matter who gets elected the next President will have some real challenges to turn this country around. And you know if it is Obama who is elected, the Republican Party will be trying to block, dimish, and blame HIM for the problems the country is facing.
Yet the Republican fan boys in this forum and across the country are still cheerleading for Bush and the Republican Party.
If this was a war that we needed to survive as a country I would not complain and say it's a sacrifice we must endure. But as you and everyone know, the Iraq War has been the biggest most expensive lie of our lifetimes perpetrated by our leadership and apparently that's ok for a significant portion of our populace.
And the ironic thing? If this war had been presided over by a Democrat/Independent, this is what the Republicans would be saying...
