Llorente is rumoured. He'd be good for Arsenal. He's a main centre forward, knows how to play both as part of a front two and on his own. He's in the final year of his contract so he's certainly not going to go for more than £20m. Whether Arsene Wenger (or Ivan Gazidis) want to spend that much I don't know, or maybe they'll stick with Giroud and Polodski.

I can't see Wenger changing his system, so it will be Giroud up front, with a front three behind of Podolski on the left, Cazorla centre, and Walcott right.

So, it can't fail to be a much stronger attacking triad than last year (Rosicky and Walcott picked up at towards the tail end, Ramsey was woeful from start to finish and Gervinho was patchy at best) but up front; nobody can really replace RVP's talents.

Official now, Alex Song is signing for Barcelona. Too late to make his debut tomorrow against Real Sociedad, but Barcelona's next game is Real Madrid on Thursday in the Spanish Super Cup. He could debut there.

This is not a statement of sour grapes, from what it seems, Song was willingly sold; but I hope he enjoys the bench.

Lol :D

He's likely to be swapping with Busquets. It's even possible Busquets might go.

Also this is interesting. Javi Martinez and Fernando Llorente have both been left out of the Bilbao squad for tomorrow's game. Watch this space.

Spurs finally get Adebayor, with the added bonus that Man City will pay half his wages up until when Adebayor's City contract was due to expire (I don't know when that is)

We signed a new left back in Alex Buttner, he'll likely be back up to Evra but going by Evra's performances in the last couple of seasons, he certainly has the experience to be the number one left back. He's 23 which is a nice age.

Berbatov's gone to Fulham for £4m. Goodbye Berba, you had your critics, but he came, he saw, and he did this.

Berbasex

City have signed Richard Wright for some reason. He allegedly plays in goal but his entire career has consisted of standing there and letting the ball go past him.

Big transfers thus far...

Clint Dempsey looks to be on his way to Spurs, he's agreed personal terms after looking all day to be on his way to Liverpool, after this morning Aston Villa's approach was knocked back. Spurs's move for Moutinho looks to be off for now, but talks are ongoing. Spurs have also signed Hugo Lloris, who is a good goalkeeper. Impressive signing for Spurs there.

Man City have signed Javi Garcia from Benfica who is a good player, as well as Nastacic. And Maicon on a free which is fine enough.

QPR have signed an entire new 11.

Less than an hour to go.
