We had rats, mice and maggots crawling over us at night. Unlike these prisoners we had no glass in our windows and I was there in the middle of winter. I agree I should have been punished but this was violating human rights!
Oh, and by the way, the Prison Officer who was talking about a guy getting bail, he was the exact same guy who punched me in the mouth when I asked for water after having been denied it for 24 hours!
