Toes in the water...
With the ankle strap, it's pretty easy. The ones without straps, I have to put grips in so my feet don't pop out.

So...I did something EXTREMELY out of character today. I bought shoes. With heels. Four inch heels. :unsure: They are purple and awesome. 
I don't know what's scarier. The fact that I bought high heeled shoes or the fact that I love them. :ninja

I shall tell the story about how I aquired them.
I've never been into shoes, especially shoes with heels. Just not my thing. I'm tall enough as it is and I don't know how to walk in heels. :surrender A few weeks ago I was browsing through a shoe store in the mall while killing time before going to see a movie. I love purple. It is the most awesome colour ever. I saw these shoes and it was "ooooooooooooh...purple...shiney". They only had two pairs in stock, a 7 and a 7 1/2. I am a size 10. Bummer. So I left but I couldn't get those shoes out of my head because they match a top I have perfectly and I need an outfit for my cousin's wedding in a few weeks. I went so far as to search out the same store in Regina a couple of weeks ago when I was there for a horse show. They didn't have them in stock at all. Couldn't find them online either. Then yesterday I was at the mall, you guessed it, killing time before a movie, when I went into the shoe store again and noticed they had more sizes! The biggest they had was a 9 but they fit! So I bolted for the cashier, bought the shoes and then dashed outside to put them in my car before they disappeared. :willy_nilly: So now I have something to wear to my cousin's wedding. Whether or not I'll be able to walk after is another story. :ninja Oh, and they were only $45. :thumbupcam elle toe

You know what? Depending how much they would be to send...and whether or not you like them...I have a pair of purple (coz I LOVE purple too) dressy shoes that I never wear anymore...and if you wanna pay for the postage...their yours...size 10...I'll take a photo

When I was in Arizona I was shopping for dress shoes at DSW with my co-worker and I found these. They had my size and I tried them on and thought they were quite fabulous. I didn't buy them because they were $80 and there was no way I was ever going to buy shoes with that much of a heel. :ninja Now I wish I had I bought them. Are they not the second coolest pair of shoes ever? (after my purples ones, of course)

Not the best pic...the straps are stretchy so they are super comfy....no buckles. they just slip on...sort of a lavender/mauve colour and suede.

Those are cool shoes! I'd probably never wear them, though. I rarely dress up and I honestly hate heels.
