most of what i see barely qualifies as heresy? you think a picture of darth vader is going to get anybody excommunicated. i think not.

the only problem with posting really blasphemous stuff here is that this is supposed to be a humor thread and really blasphemous things, especially the gory stuff aren't funny.

so there is the paradox. how can blasphemy be humorous? are these humorous things posted really blasphemous? but i get too close to serious now and risk an infraction for not heeding the mod.

There is a difference between making fun of people and making fun of beliefs. A few of the jokes in this thread are about people such as Jesus or the Virgin Mary. But these are public figures. Most public figures seem to wind up as the butt of jokes sooner or later. The best advice is if you don't like jokes about religion then this is not the thread for you.

thanks for your words of wisdom...I know Jesus is a public figure and because he's not there to answer you have
blanket to ridicule and mock at him as and when you desire! I think this amounts to 'back biting' and talking ill of dead people which serves no other purpose than mere expression of frustration by a few and their lack of respect for the beliefs of the majority who think otherwise..
the irony is that when the majority screws them they call it ''oppression'' and ''undemocratic''!!

Morality is a belief, religion faith!!
