Murder is the unlawful killing of another human being. Comparing the execution of a serial killer to him murdering his innocent victims is utterly ridiculous.Murder for murder.

It is a perfect demonstration of YOUR reasoning. By your reasoning that is torture in my case. Are you eve serious with that statement? It doesn't even apply.
I doubt you are left with permanent mental/emotional harm that renders several aspects of your life damaged. It is a perfect demonstration of YOUR reasoning. By your reasoning that is torture in my case.
Politics plain and simple.lol @ those saying the only alternative is to pamper them.
So answer me this. If waterboarding isn't torture:
Why has the US military banned it?
Why does the CIA have to fly suspects to other countries to perform it?
How do you know I don't? And how do you know those who went through water boarding do?I doubt you are left with permanent mental/emotional harm that renders several aspects of your life damaged.
- Torture: existence of a specific purpose plus intentional infliction of severe suffering or pain;
That's a terribly deficient definition.
Because what you stated isn't the same as torture. Going through a tough time in a car that makes you ancxiousisn't the same as someone intentionally capturing you, imprisoning you, strapping you down to a table, turning you upside down in a dark room, screaming at you for hours and making you think you are going to die.Politics plain and simple.

But you love rainbows
HisHoliness said:I hear at the end of the rainbow, one will find a Leprechaun waterboarding an Islamic Fundamentalist.
And nor is any of that the same as torture where they inflict terrible and sever pain upon your body.Because what you stated isn't the same as torture. Except not all torture is physical. And nor is any of that the same as torture where they inflict terrible and sever pain upon your body.
Oh and ever time I get on the freeway, I'm convinced I'm going to die. Phobias can have that effect on people.
Politics plain and simple.
Of course not but somebody could use the mental angle and call any and everything torture.Except not all torture is physical.
I'm sure you'll get over it.Sorry, that answer doesn't cut it.
Not really. it depends on the severity.Of course not but somebody could use the mental angle and call any and everything torture.
I'm sure you'll get over it.
Exactly. Using something that does not actually hurt anybody but instead scares them is not torture. Pulling somebody's finger nails out or whipping them half to death is.Not really. it depends on the severity.
That's a terribly deficient definition.
