AMEN...the bed we had was rather "plain" for the price my wife's company paid....and the prices in Europe...yikes! and when she lost her dad three weeks ago and then had to go to Spain for work!
we brought 1400 in Euros ( cost $1900)
and we came home with 850 Euros...and with the economy the way it is its almost a lose-lose situation.
we didn't buy any souvenirs at all...it all went to food! water is expensive..6 euros for a 3 liter "snack pack"!!! and if you wanted it with dinner it would cost you 10 euros!


so...ya want to know anything else?

Wow!! Sounds like food and such was really expensive out there (on even the small items too)! That's crazy what you got charged for things though.
