Not sure if this was my question to answer but:

I either use a paper towel along with using one to open the bathroom door... or I raise my leg up and use my foot to flush with (which is the option in most public restrooms!)

Public toilets are the worst! I hate how to enter you can push the door with your shoulder or leg, but to exit you have to touch the handle. Design flaw I reckon.
