I voted for number 7.

It was the one that got my attention more than the others. Mainly because the flowers look unusual and not ones I normally see.

I had been pondering on voting for #1 too since the first day. I like it being artsy among the rest. Just as you noticed the background color should have been different to bring the beauty of the rose out.

However as Siph noticed too, it was able to catch up very *quickly* with the rest of the pics at front runners. I noticed a change of the background color being a bit lighter than originally :humm:

This flower caught my attention too. It's one of my favourite tropical flowers other than the Bird of Paradise. :thumbup

I was hoping though that it would have been zoomed out and focused on the flower per se. As I agree it's a beautiful, exotic looking flower ( juz saying)

i'll explain things,when an entry is submitted it stays in my messages until the poll starts,then i save them to my laptop then put them all onto photobucket,my photobucket.......the code used to post in the poll is from my photobucket,its impossible for any entrant to enhance an entry after its been posted for a couple of reasons.the main reason is that i wouldn't allow it,even with mine which i obviously have access to.....believe me when i say everything is above board in the competitions i run,no cheating allowed or tolerated,and i trust the entrant who submitted no 1 100%

so any doubters can rest assured that no skullduggery has taken place

It was hard to decide, all of the pictures are very nice and I waited a few days to see if my first impression was right...
I finally voted... for the one that caught my eye on the first day!..

I'm no expert in photography at all... as a matter of fact, I can't take a good picture to save my life... but I know what I like...
I love the clarity and details of the flowers, and feel like I can reach and touch the centers..
I also like that the flowers and background are perfectly balanced..
The composition is, to my eyes, the best in the group..
The flowers stand out and the background complements them and is not intrusive at all.. :thumbup
