Because headbaning music used to be just that... music. Zeppelin, Sabbath, the greats, now it just seems like tantrum music. I'm done, I was just curious as to what's considered metal these days. I'll politely "gtfo" now.

lol I deleted that. figured it was a bit harsh... I love Zeppelin and Sabbath too, but CoB is WAY better than alot of the bands you are talking about. I like metal, but I can only take so much. CoB are cool because they try new stuff. Like actually having a decent keyboard player

Did you just say CoB is better than Zeppelin? Please tell me I interpreted your statement wrong.

You interpreted it wrong. I was saying CoB were better than bands who just wail on shit without a rythm and yell a lot. No way is CoB better than Zepp or Sabbath or any of the great metal bands, but they are certainly better than a lot of current metal bands

Oh, BTW I suggest checking out the bands 'Parkway Drive' and 'As Blood Runs Black' if you are into really heavy music, like me. Just a thought

Oh ok just making sure. Yeah pretty much all new metal bands are horrible. Just my opinion.

If anyone wants decent music, here you go:

www.myspace.com/halestorm

they are called halestorm...i use to be close friends with them, but distance brought us apart. They were signed to Atlantic records last year, which was pretty awesome, you knew that they were going to make it.

I remember the good ol days of them playing in bars in philly with hardly anyone there.

that's why I said /Nightwish . they do happen to sound a little bit like them musically

haha no, I don't think they sound like them musically either. The only thing that the two bands you mentioned have in common with halestorm is that there is a female singer.

But hey, that's your opinion
