Okay...did anybody else watch tonight???

First round definitely went to Archuleta, hands down. Second round, I wasn't keen on either performance, actually. Third round, I thought it went to Cook. I hate the arrangement Archuleta does on "Imagine"...you don't mess w/ that song, you just sing it like it was originally done. All those runs don't fit in that song, IMO.

So...judging from the show tonight I have to say that I think the win is going to go to Archuleta. I voted for Cook, though.

My mom was telling me last night how they had footage of him when he was ten and ran into some of the Idol contestants in a hotel, I guess season one, and told them how when he was old enough, he was going to compete. I think it would be AWESOME if he won!

They played it sometime this season. He sang that "I'm telling you" song to a group from the first season including Kelly Clarkson. Kelly pushed him and said "OH MY GOD!!!" and asked for his name.

I'm pulling for David Cook...but I think Archuleta is gonna win it.

Audition shows for Season 8 start airing tomorrow night. I'm going to start a new thread for Season 8.

So far the first two weeks they've shown of auditions is boring me. The one funny(er creepy/weird) audition was that kid who "sang" by leaning his head forward and "singing" in a weird voice, but talked normal. I couldn't even tell you what song he was "singing."

ME, ME, ME!!! She's so freakin' annoying! What sucks is that she does have a helluva voice. But her personality sucks and the stunt she pulled about switching groups and then switching back should have gotten her booted right then.

I'm just happy that bikini girl is gone.
