It's really too bad the leadership before Obama mismanaged the economy so badly, put such a high price on deregulation, and allowed the largest fraudulent, greed driven event (the housing bubble) to run it's course without intervention. It's what happens when the not so smart voters elect buffoons into office.

Instead of solely bemoaning Obama, you might acknowledge just how out of control and incompetent the Republican's under and including Bush were. ;)

I'd have to agree. But, it goes further back than Dubya. On the bright side, all this has shown how completely sold-out both sides of the aisle are for those actually paying attention to what's really happening.

I completely agree that both sides of the isle are sell outs. While i may not completely agree with Obama's policies, I really love that he is a younger and less tainted candidate than most that run for the presidency. And whether you agree with his approach or not, you have to admit that he is working his ass off.
And yes, it goes way back before W, he was just the latest clown in a long line of clowns in office... I still cannot for the life of me understand why America would put such a clown into office. Shouldn't we be putting the best and the brightest into that job?

hehehehehehehehe..... I didn't vote for Dubya and never understood how anyone could vote for him. Much less twice.

If Barack lives up to some of his promises I'll be happy. I have a cartoon on my fridge of him pasting back together our Constitution. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm trying to hold off judgment of him for 1 year. Hopefully, he at least rescinds the tax-breaks for taking corps overseas. Cuz holding this prior administration accountable doesn't really seem to be on the table.... but one never knows?

Hey, if not, at least other countries like Spain will hold them accountable. Which means not much except they won't be traveling there unless they want to be arrested for War Crimes.

:horse:horse:horse

I must resist for my well-being & blood pressure............ :D

All political parties are susceptible to the temptation of placing more emphasis on scheming to hold power, instead of putting the best people on the job. It must have something to do with pretty faces are easier to elect. This says just as much about the electorate as it does about the party. However it's been clearly illustrated in the last decade that a pretty face minus the brains and morals is not good enough for running a country. ;)

Acknowledgement made. But you CANNOT say that Obama isn't more of a spending freak or bigger-government advocate than Bush. Because he is. Obama is pretty much single-handedly ruining the future of this country.... yay.

Because Obama is really better that any of the previous clowns? Give me a break. Youngness doesn't give him anything beyond any other politician. He's just grown into the clown position faster than anyone else.

If it makes anyone feel any better, Obamas cabinet is just as guilty of criminal activity financially as the Bush administration...Look at the tax records.

Oh and the Sec. of Homeland Defense still thinks the 9/11 attackers came in through Canada :24:

She doesn't even read reports from her own office :24:

Just sayin

That's your conservative opinion. Only time will tell. :)

The overwhelming increase in IQ in the Oval Office is so apparent, it's really an insult comparing him to previous clowns. :)

Whatever happened in Bush's administration doesn't compare to what Obama is doing to completely destroy our economy. This is such a critical time and instead of Obama spending he should be decreasing the budget. If Obama continues to his crazed spending he is going to put the US even further behind the rest of the world. Before the year 2050 China's economy will be more powerful than the US simply because of it's size. Obama should be taking steps to increase our economies strength and power, not destorying the dollar.

Obama makes me fuckin sick. Sorry for swearing, but this is not the direction I want to see the country go in, and I fear we shall see the fall of the United States in the next 100 years, much like the fall of the Roman Empire.
