Perhaps the name? Leananshee is actually a Faerie Muse who inspires but drives those inspired to madness. Perfect metaphor for me, being creative and bipolar. Alas, also misconstrued, as are Faeries (who are neither cutesy nor teeny-tiny, nor do they particularly like humans, let alone take 'em in as godparents).
Yeah, I think it was the name. For some reason my brain processes it as "Leanne" at the beginning. *shrugs*
It's actually pronounced "LAWN-ahn-shee", comes from Gaelic. The one everyone knows is banshee, originally Bean-Sidhe, actually known to weep for dying leaders, not so much with the screaming.
