I spent 8 years in, I was a 3S071. A Personnelist.

I was stationed at Osan Air Base, South Korea, Elemdorf AFB, Alaska, and at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA. I was deployed several places in support of OEF/OIF. :thumbup

LOL, Never heard much good about Osan. I hear Elmendorf is gorgeous though.


Yeah, I got out before that stuff. I had several TDYs, but only real world deployments were for Kosovo (Aviano, Italy) , and Northern (Incerlick Turkey) and Southern (Saudi) watch.

Yeah, I remember when guys would get orders to go there they would act like they got a prison sentence.

I would have loved to have gone to Asia, but never did. Spangdahlem Germany was pretty sweet, cept for the fact the base is on crack. 12-15 hour days 11 days every 2 weeks

However, fest season was awesome!!! So was the food there!!

Especially Aviano, Italy some of the best places I have eaten are in Aviano. If you ever get to go there, go to Devequios Pizza. Best pizza on the planet!!
