My nice tah tahs will forever be thereI need to start lifting weights again, I used to lift 60-75 lbs and 80 with my legs. I still have strong legs :cool I want sooo badly to go to the gym again!!
You'll get there Joe. Firming, strengthening and toning you tummy is the absolute worst after you've had a child....
My daughter was 12 pounds / 23 inches long when she was born (I'm only 5 ft. 4 in. tall) - talk about a massive belly before and after birth. My tummy's back into shape now but I had to work extremely hard at it.![]()
Shit, its hard period. Least for me. I didnt have a child, but I had an extremely lax lifestyle before getting into this and I'm paying for it in the tummy area. It gets frustrating at times.
lol
Have you ever tried walking / sitting around in 'crunch mode'? Works like a freaking charm. You'll have abs of steel in no-time!

lol
I do 100 crunches and 5 minutes of up and downs every other day. Its going down, it just seems like its taking forever. I'm gonna get a barbell so I can do weighted twists as well.
Fo sho. Every other day is cardio day for me. Endurance, floor exercise. I do about an hour of cardio every other day. On weight days I do 10 minutes on the bike, then work out whatever muscle group for that day. Right now I'm doing. 45 minutes on the bike, 3 minutes of knee highs. (theres some breaks in there, i"m not athelete)100 crunches, 5 minutes of up and downs ( again there are some breaks) and then finish with some sprints.

If you're a guy, your gut / love handles are supposed to be extremely difficult to get rid of.
This might help: If you're trying to lose weight / get back into shape, work on your cardio, do some shaddow boxing, jog on a trampoline and focus on toning up your oblique muscles.

If you keep it up, it will surely pay off!:thumbup
Breaks are essential, too.![]()
Holy fuck that's a big bebeh!!Dean was only 7 lbs. 14 oz. but I gained a lot during my pregnancy. I've lost 40 pounds since I had him, but it's only the beginning! lol
Yes! Support is a BIG factor in this. I don't have any, so imagine I did while I was losing that weight last year? I could've lost so much more, lol.
Walking and sitting in crunch mode?? What is this and how do I do it?
What are ups and downs?
Thank you Astria! And yeah, I know how that is... Start working out for a week then quit lol.
Thank god I'm not a guy :ninja I do want to take boxing though
Do you have a home gym set up?
I do have a home gym set up. An up and down is where you drop to a squat, from there throw your legs back so you're in a push up possition, then pop back into the squat and from there jump up in the air. Rinse and repeat. Shit will make you puke. lol
stay classy :24: jk
cute! Here I am in my school Valentines getup. We ended up having snow days last week and Mondays are always too crazy, so our Valentines party was postponed until today. I always love getting the cute little Valentines cards!

I tried to smile for the pic but it ended up looking like a grimace. I am exhausted. With all the snow days and everything, this has been our first full 5 day work week in ages!
