The Media And Their Always Accurate Predictions

Week One in this NFL season is barely over. And already the media is making predictions about who will win it all this year.

They need to realize that the regular season is only 1/16th over!

In this day and age, teams that were terrible one year can be great the next, and vice-versa. So I find it annoying when the "experts" make out like they can tell which teams will succeed this year and which teams won't. And I'm sure everyone can understand why I feel annoyed.

These "experts" often disagree on who will win which games. One expert thinks one team will win. Then another expert disagrees and thinks the other team will win.

If these people are really experts, then why do they completely disagree with each other regarding who will win?

The answer is that they're often just guessing who will win.

This isn't something new that's for sure and it's all part of the fun.

I remember when I started following the NFL back in 1993, I actually listened when sports reporters made predictions about which team will defeat whom. How ignorant I was!
