i loved the movie, BUT....

IMO, it was kinda liek the coast guard's version of officer and a gentleman- which remains my favorite movie of all time

Oh blimey, that's my favourite too. I have it on video, then when I started buying DVD's, I got it on dvd too. I just cannot get bored with that or Top Gun actually, but I don't have Top Gun on DVD. Officer and a Gentleman does beat the other films I love.

Well, I now have The Guardian!!!

Haven't watched it yet, so don't tell me what happens in it, cos my son bought it for me for my birthday, so it'll be sad if I know anything other than that clip above that I saw that Jersey kindly posted. Then his effort to get it for me, bless him, will be wasted.

If I am not out this Saturday though, it's a bottle of wine, tissues (by the sound of it I will need them) and some nibbles. Stretch out on the sofa and just get into the film.

I haven't got to watch it yet, so am hoping next week. I'm out on 26th, but in on 27th I think, unless another friend contacts me about going out the saturday too. If not, will watch it then. I am looking forward to it. I have a few DVD's I haven't yet seen, that are in my DVD rack.
