Technically grass that you see as green is truly every color but green.

Every other color from the white light that touches it is absorbed, but green is emitted back out for your eyes to see. Therefore, it is not green, it's r, o, y, b, i and v.

umm actually chlorophyll produces sugar in a process called photosynthesis, this is what makes it green. The grass itself is not every other color, but the light it absorbs that is the catalyst for photosynthesis is.
