The Graffiti Project on Kelbourn Castle

They took a castle from 1200 AD and let a lot of graffiti artists freshen it up.

I guess it's a nice way to get renovations paid for, but it seems a little awful to me even if I do like the graffiti.


What do yall think? Graffiti on an old castle?

Oh God I think it looks horrible. Truely garish. Like a rainbow vomited on the castle.

I don't get why everything has to be covered with bloody graffiti all of a sudden. Everywhere I look, there is 'professional graffiti' being painted on everything to get down with the 'youth'. And it is all really REALLY garish and crap looking.

I definitely agree.

I might like it better if it just didn't look so garish. I really like Banksy because it's simple but effective. He doesn't feel the need to cover every inch with a multitude of colours and rubbish drawings/squiggles.

I think the best graffiti is simple.

What's the point of renovating it if you're just going to make it look like crap.

I agree graffiti does have it's place; in the walls of banksy's jail cell.
