oh, and as far as my chili goes...

28oz can of crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce (could use diced, but I don't like the texture of tomatoes).
4oz can of diced chiles
Meat of your choosing (I use ground beef or turkey, or obviously the steak and bacon in this last one)
2 cans of beans (your choice, I use pinto)
Chili powder
Garlic
Onion Powder
Hot Sauce

Basically... from that point, I just cook the meat in some hot sauce of some sort, I'm a fan of sriracha (rooster sauce) and tapatio. While you're doing that, combine the other ingredients into a crock pot or a pot on a stove on medium-high heat. Basically it's just a matter of seasoning things to taste... I never use exact quantities of anything as far as spices are concerned. Once the meat is cooked, combine it with the other ingredients... bring them to a boil, and then simmer for 2-3 hours (if cooking on a pot) or 2 hours on high and then 2-3 hours on medium or low in the crock pot. Cooking times can vary, and I usually try it after two hours or so, but the flavors are better blended together if they've cooked longer. I've also been known to put a can of sweet green giant corn niblets in the chili as well.

I know that this isn't very specific, but yeah... I don't use a recipe for most anything... I just kinda go with it. :24:

I just got done inviting 1300 peeps to The All American Weekend on Facebook. *cracks fingers*

In hindsight, it might have been an easier process on the Ipad... =/
