How do you feel about the French and why?

i have no problem with them. my dad was born there. he's not french but have french in me. i actually wouldn't mind going there one day if i could.
I really don't care much for them myself. Maybe if they would shower every now and then...
Well, they did help us win our independence from you Brits, but we paid that debt off when we bailed their croissant eating asses out of WWII.
My girlfriend took a trip to Paris last year and she said that the people there were some of the rudest she has ever met. I think the only reason I would want to go there is just to see the Louvre.

On a serious note.. it's nice to see some resoned opinions on this topic as I half expected a barage of anti french comments (not that they still might come!).
I had a discussion with a mate of mine a couple of weeks back after he made some comment about how the French have always been cowards throughout history.. I told him I thought that was a crock of shit and that maybe French leaders have been cowardly but you can't say that the French as a whole are.
..as for the French smelling... I have smelt some pretty bad people during my travels and I must say that the French are far from the worst! (maybe a bit garlicy at first but once you've had a couple of meals you don't notice as you are garlicy too!)

I think the French are a bunch of fags because in WWII they got taken over in one month, in the War in Iraq they refused to help us (America), and finally they're a bunch of fairies because they wear leather and are unmanly.
obviously if they can lose so bad so quick they wouldn't help us because apparantly they couldn't defend themselves and then we would have had to go over there and help them. like we need more problems?! just because they aren't strong fighters doesn't make them fags...

I'm in the military, and I for one wish we weren't involved in it either. Fact is, the Israel/Hezbollah thing will end up boiling over and we will somehow find ourselves involved in it too. And we can't forget about Iran and North Korea acting all cocky and whatnot. It's gonna get messy in the next few years.

Your point is irrelevant..they voted for their presiden who made their decision, so the vast majority of the French would have made the same decision, thus making them accountable. And how do you explain their being taken over in ONE month in WWII, it's called they're a bunch of women and the Germans are a bunch of men...that's why.
